One ball joint at the top … Read more This Mid-Century American made desk lamp has a great Bauhaus design or Industrial look. One ball joint at the top ensures that the shade can be swiveled. The on and off switch is located on the top of the black lacquered metal shade and has chrome elements, mounted on a wood base. The shade is 12" in diameter and approximately 7" tall. The wood base is 7" in diameter. The overall measurements are 17" wide and 20" tall and weighs approximately 5 pounds. The shade and base have been restored and look great. The inside sticker is approval of Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. and is not the manufacturer of the lamp. See less
