This Arthur Secunda rare vintage 1980 serigraph print framed Modernist limited edition Swiss exhibition poster is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The serigraph print exhibition poster is published in 1980, printed by Meissner Edition Hamburg, West Germany in an unnumbered limited edition on the occasion of The Internationale Kunstmesse exhibition on Basel Switzerland. It features a Modernist artwork image by Arthur Secunda.
Arthur Secunda ( B. 1927 ) is an internationally renown artist whose career has spanned eight decades. Known for his brilliant Modernist collages and striking graphics, he is a master of many printmaking disciplines. Secunda considers himself a landscape artist, and has developed his own iconography in representing nature, the land it forms, as well as corresponding inner landscapes. The accomplished body of expressive Modern artworks are in included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums including The National Gallery of Art, The Smithsonian Museum Washington D.C., and The Museum of Modern Art New York.
The rare out of print framed serigraph print exhibition poster measures 19 3/4" W X 27 3/4" H X 3/4" D. It is period custom framed with plexiglass in a classic Modern matte satin finish gold tone brass metal frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
It is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age and light signs of handling and wear to the frame molding. Please see photos for condition reference. It is now being offered here for an excellent price. less
