Magnificent and fully restored walnut executive desk attributed to Martin Borenstein, who designed a number of subtler but equally memorable pieces for Brown Saltman, made in the USA c. 1970s. Offers a massive 6.5 foot workspace, charcoal leatherette top and back panel, and room for three of your executives to sit across from you for face to face meetings.

The frame features coved edges along the sides. Three drawers on the right side with two on the left, the lower one for file folders. The entire piece, which weighs approximately 200 lbs, sits on a surprisingly sleek pair of legs – made possible by a large pair of bolts that run through each leg. The top hangs over the edges on the sides and rear, giving it a sense that it floats above the desk.

This desk remained in the same family since its original purchase in the early 1970s, serving as the primary workspace for two generations of model airplane hobbyists who used it as their primary workspace. See less
