A beautiful late 19th century English majolica plate having an embossed colourful begonia leaf featured to the centre on embossed basket weave pattern ground and a gadrooned rim in yellow. The underside is decorated with dappled brown glaze and an impressed number 12 mark.
Attributed to Adams & Bromley manufacturer, circa 1880.
