Pair of important Caryatids from the 1600s in carved wood with a dark patina from a choir complex used as dividers between the stalls. The two figures are non-gendered, with long hair and hold an Ionic capital on their heads. Both torsos have adopted an original solution to overcome the lack of arms by grafting two volutes onto the shoulders, two curls facing towards the pectorals. Under the relaxed abdomens, drapery in one and volutes in the other connect the figures to the carved pilaster. In the middle part, two different compositions of fruit carved in high relief.
The caryatids have undergone old restorations with minimal additions and consolidations, but are essentially in a good state of conservation.
