The knives are quite exquisite, the silver blade is complimented nicely by the lustrous and rich nacre of the solid pearl handles. Each with silver ferrules and rounded end caps. Each piece is hallmarked with the French Minerve 2nd standard mark denoting a silver content of .800 silver (almost sterling). With maker's marks of initials MJ. In overall good condition with general wear commensurate with use and age. An indention on the very tip of the end cap of one or two knives. The knives measure 7 1/4" in length. The set weighs 504 grams. Housed in a presentation box with purple satin and velvet linted interior. Box showing wear and age, measures 12 1/2" length x 8 1/4" width x 1 5/8" height See less
