A stunning antique circa 1920 silver plated serving bowl from a Pacific Steam Navigation Co. passenger steamship! In excellent condition, no dents or damage, just the usual small marks and signs of use you'd expect from old ship silver that was used daily. Marked with the shipping line seal on the front, and marked underneath as made by Elkington in the year 1920. This serving bowl would also make a fantastic ice bucket or fruit bowl!
Measures approximately 10.75" x 7.75" x 2.75” deep.
The Pacific Steam Navigation Co. steamship line provided mail and passenger service from Liverpool and other European ports to Chile, Argentina, and other places in South America from 1840 until 1965, although it was taken over by the Royal Mail Steam Packet Company in 1910.
