Description: Pair of Art Deco hand-painted Nippon vases with yellow roses and blue, green, and gold beaded detailing. These elegant vases … more Pair of Art Deco hand-painted Nippon vases with yellow roses and blue, green, and gold beaded detailing. These elegant vases are backstamped with the green Nippon wreath encircling the letter "M" indicating they were produced and sold by the Morimura Brothers of Japan between 1914 - 1921 (later becoming the Noritake Company). Although the "M" Wreath was used by the company until 1940, the vases can be dated as pre-1921 when U.S Trade regulations required the word "Nippon" to be replaced by "Japan," as all countries of origin were required by manufacturers of imported goods. The opening of each vase is approximately 2"wide with a 3"wide total rim size. less
