Barbini joined the Murano glassworks company in 1929 at the age of 17, and is considered one of the leading glassmakers of the 20th Century. The irregularly-shaped sphere is approximately 3.5"W x 4.5"D x 3"H (without stand). Because of the unique shape of this piece, it can be displayed on multiple sides with or without the 2"W x 2"H cobalt blue glass stand, which is included in purchase. See less
