It is so subtle - … Read more This absolutely fabulous hand crafted rattan bowl is trimmed with a 3/4” band of brass. It is so subtle - and stunning! It’s a perfect example of functional art. Research indicates that this is the iconic style of the renowned Italian designer, Gabriella Crespi (1922 - 2017.) This bowl is in incredibly good condition. After cleaning, the brass features great patina and the pencil reed rattan is clean and shiny. The only possible flaw i found that it does wobble a bit. A felt pad on the bottom would be an easy, simple solution. It measures 14” in diameter and approximately 4 1/2” tall. The inside diameter is approximately 7 1/2”.
