We were told these were architecturally salvaged from a fountain. And from the size of them we think this was a large outside fountain, not the indoor drinking fountains they custom made at the time. But this is a supposition on our part.

The right one in the image does have some damage as seen in the pictures, but not to the main central design. Overall in good condition for the age.

Please also note that the one on the left is designed a little different towards the back, with one side slanted in; We find this intriguing in that it shows the different angle/side each was positioned in, in the bigger scheme of the fountain.

These are heavy enough to use as bookends or just as a historical Objet d'Art.

Condition: Consistent with age with some damage seen in the pics to the right one.
