Adding to the beauty of the piece is the patinated brass frieze, which is adorned with a meticulously hand engraved Vitruvian scroll patterning. The brass panel top is likewise engraved, and the hinged panel sides feature elaborate wrought iron scroll work. A patinated brass under shelf and four brass paw feet complete this piece inspired by a Louis XVI original. See less
