It features a walnut base with elegant slim tapered legs with brass shoes at the ends. All wooden parts are in very good original vintage condition with only some minor wear due to their age. The seat is upholstered with an new multicoloured flower fabric on a black ground. A perfect addiion to any midcentury modern living room, office, entrance or library! it´s provenance is directly from a viennese villa, villa pertl, which was designed by haerdtl in 1957. So this outstanding stool is a rare unique and important piece of austrian postwar design history. Lit.: a. Stiller: oswald haerdtl, vienna 2000, wv 344. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
