Pair of table or table lamps by Elaine Bscheider from the 1970s, United States. Swirling body in the shape of a cobra or prezel made of transparent methacrylate and details in chrome-plated gold brass. Produced by Dorothy Thorpe Inc. Very rare pieces.
Made with the same materials that Charles Hollis Jones and Aldo Tura used to use. Timeless design, postmodern and Hollywood Regency style.
Very much in the style of Maison Charles and Maison Jansen as well.
For one E27 bulb each piece. Original electrical installation reviewed. Screens not included. Measurements are without screen. Perfect condition. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
