This is a beautiful 4 piece matching set consisting of a wall pocket vase with a matching lid accented with gold gilding and beautiful hand painted serene pastoral scene, and a spout for pouring into a decorative lavabo. Also in this set are Two covered bowls with lids and a small dish that matches the small bowl. These pieces were crafted and hand painted by Lenwile Ardalt China in Japan, sometime between 1945 and the 1950's. There are label's on the the wall pocket and larger bowl.
Measurements on the pieces:
Wall Pocket including lid 9-1/2" tall, from edge of the handles is 6-3/4", Protrudes 2-1/2"
Large Bowl including lid 5-1/2" tall, width from handles 7"
Small Bowl including lid 3-1/4" tall, width from handles 5"
Dish 5" x 3-1/4"
If you count Lids there are 7 pieces.
Their white coloring and soft design with a hint or Victorian style makes them a unique and eye catching addition to any wall and shelf. ()
