A stunning 1980s reproduction of Tōshūsai Sharaku woodblock print depicting the actor Matsumoto Yonesaburo as Shinobu Disguised as Kewaizaka No Shosho. One of the original woodblocks by the great Japanese artist is located at Musee Guimet. Published in Japan in 1980s. Heavy paper, copy in Japanese and English on the back. Excellent condition, never framed, like new, but feels almost like original woodblock print . Superb quality. Comes from 50 year old collection of Asian Art in Japan. Japan, 1980s.
