this floral oil painting on canvas is dated 1875 and signed on the left h. Hombron, french still life and landscape painter.

henri jean baptiste hombron (1834-1907) worked in brest in several fine arts museums, rennes and quimper in 1873.

he was a member of the ‘société académique de brest’. He participated in the ‘salon des artistes’ in paris from 1876 to 1878.

today, henri jean baptiste hombron's works are in the brest museum. His master was l. Caradec.
