CGG was a cousin of the very recognized Arrah Lee Gaul. The subject is his Pa. Farm house. This has been in the George Anderson collection for over 25 yrs. There is a very short Bio. on this artist in Falks- three volumes of the PAFA. He was also an illustrator for Harper's Bazaar. I will be posting an illustration painting by CGG on another post.. The painting is 1941 and o/c laid on board, 100% original and in excellent condition. Frame size 16.5"x17.5" This painting is as fine a quality as Edward Redfield, Walter Baum, Fern Coppedge. less
