Ceramic tile from the "Geo" series, design Lodovico Asirelli for Iris Ceramica, with press relief design, glazed in matt white with an "orange peel" effect finish, produced in the 1970s.
The decoration is central with a circle inside which geometric shapes are shaped in bas-relief which give particularity and light.
The tile has been framed to preserve its condition.
Lodovico Asirelli received the gold medal from the President of the Senate, at the XXIX international exhibition in Faenza, thanks to another series of tiles, also produced by Iris Ceramica and in 2005 he was awarded the Oscar for "design
ceramic” delivered to him in Faenza at the Exhibition Palace by the Director of the ISA “Bellardini” Prof. Rolando Giovannini.
It will be shipped in its aluminum frame as shown in the photo, cm. 42 x 42
Permanently exhibited at the Ceramics Museum in Faenza and published in the most important books in the sector.
