The process:
After drawing my design, the image is carved into wood. Ink is rolled onto the surface of the block, and the reverse image is transferred to paper. This is a one of a kind print, created with multiple blocks that were layered to create the final image.
About my work:
I'm a full time artist with a BFA from Laguna College of Art & Design, where I majored in drawing and painting, working primarily from life and the nude figure. My work is inspired by nature, my everyday surroundings, and a collection of old photographs. I show in galleries and exhibitions in addition to selling directly from my studio.
