This magnificent desk, designed by Vittorio Dassi in the 1950s for Permanente Mobili Cantù, stands out for its refined glass top with a sculpted line. The front features a beautiful "grissinatura" section in carved wood, also present on the opposite side, in the band of the central drawer, flanked by eight sinuous drawers embellished with elegant recessed brass handles. The four brass supports, with their slender lines, give the desk an airy appearance, almost as if it were suspended in the air. This piece is an excellent example of Italian design from the 1950s. The condition is very good, as it has been recently restored by an expert artisan. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising

misattribution
