This 1966 hardcover, first reprinting, was published by Oxford University Press, Toronto. It was housed in the Osborne Collection of Early Children's books.
There are 24 elaborate, black-and=white drawings by Amelia Frances Howard Gibbon The "I" and "U". aren't included. The illustrations weren't removed; they just weren't included by the artist, for some reason. And, the book is intact, as issued.
The illustrations and text are clean, bright and unmarked. The only note is some light wear to the front linen cloth cover.
This is a treat for collectors of vintage and Vintage children's books - for display or for framing of individual letters.
