With a bold geometric pattern and striking appeal, this hand-knotted wool antique Persian Sarab runner beautifully blend contemporary, modern, and traditional interiors. It features a geometric pattern composed of six hexagonal stepped medallions enclosed with hyacinth blooms and dotted with serrated lozenge amulets and roundel rosettes spread across an abrashed midnight ink blue field. It is framed with a royal blue botanical border flanked with an inner and outer carnation meander guard border and subsidiary guard stripes. Though deceptively simple, this Sarab runner is clearly laced with meaning and Persian cultural significance.
