Mark Chatterley (Michigan USA) Fire Clay Crater Glaze Ceramic Figural Couple Sculpture. Exceptional beauty the sculpture is two parts resting on steel base plate with holding rod. Illegibly Signed on bottom. Has feeling of stone erosion. The sculpture is used in Good Condition with normal handling wear, age discoloration, minor losses to the crater glaze; The piece is fragile based on artist construction process and, excessive handling should be avoided.

Chatterley earned a BFA and MFA from Michigan State University, and is the recipient of many awards and accolades. His work has shown in gallery and museum exhibitions throughout the USA and in Asia. He has completed a number of public art commissions and he has cast several of his large works in bronze. He is represented by River Gallery in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Sculpturesite Gallery in Northern California. Somerhill Gallery, Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
