Splatterware (Spode) was made in England for America between 1800-1850, using a technique where glaze was splattered or sponged on.
A small piece of rubber was put on the bottom on each plate, creating small dots that verify the authenticity of the plates.
Includes 3 tea cups with handles (no saucers).
One cup has a few very small chips.
