This is a very unusual antique cast iron doorstop. American Indian motif - possibly a souvenir of Illinois Massachusetts. Designed & signed by well known and documented listed. Massachusetts artist LaForce Bailey - ( 1893 to 1962 ). Back is marked - Shop Laboratories, Laforce Bailey, Sculpt. 1923. The metallic gold paint appears to be original. It is quite heavy for its size - weighs a bit over 4 pounds. It is in very good condition. Small size - measures approx. 4 1/4 tall 4 1/2 long 3 1/4 deep.
