Magnificent and important 3-seater leather sofa
It is attributed to Cassina (undocumentable), when in the 1960s the historic Meda company began to build modern furniture making use of collaborations with the most famous designers
The model should be the Balestra, traces of which have been lost also because it was conceived as a sort of prototype: inside there are flexible metal springs that give it an extremely comfortable seat. The result is a sofa that is, if not unique, very difficult to find and very versatile, also thanks to the very wide armrests
The upholstery of the sofa was entirely replaced decades ago with the current one, a pink leather which, although with signs due to time and use, is still soft and flexible
We have carefully cleaned it and it is ready to be used
