This classic rose vase with smooth vertical cuts is what elegance is all about. This item has not been and still in the official Baccarat red box.
This stunning vase realized by Baccarat- one of France's most illustrious producers of glass products- circa 1970. Baccarat represented the official glass maker for Louis XV and continues to make some of the finest hand blown glass in the world. This piece is a testament to their superlative craftsmanship and timeless aesthetic. It features an ovoidal top cut an angle and three rounded sides. While its form is austere, it is anything but simple. It has been crafted to refract light in an extremely compelling way- like a perfectly cut diamond- creating a wealth of interesting geometries within. This piece is not only a perfectly functional vase but a beautiful objet d'art that would be equally stunning with or without flowers. Excellent condition. Acid etched "Baccarat France" with the company's official stamp on bottom. France, circa 1970
