This … more Beautiful Al (Albert) Kaufman (American, 1928-2005) “Ming Tree” limited edition 40/100 intaglio relief pressed etching print on handmade paper. This skinny scroll size print is done in an inky blue, similar in color to a cyanotype, and contrasts with the natural oatmeal color paper showing through. The tall, mountainside tree and contrasting detailing is raised from the flat blue inked surface.

Artist hand signed lower right, titled lower center, editioned lower left.

Presented in original two-tone blue double matting. Unframed.

Artwork is in good vintage condition, with some areas of aging/darkening around edges. Matting shows age and areas of fading (please see photos) - wear consistent with age and use.

Matted dimension 9”W x 18”T. Artwork inset measures approximately 3”W x 12”T not including handwritten title and signature.
