Heavy large Cast Brass Chandelier designed
by Chapman Manufacturing Avon MA.
in 1972 after the designs of E.F Caldwell & Co.
the greatest lighting manufacturer in American history.
12 Edison Sockets.
First picture is of one hanging in a Marshall Fields
store. All the next are the actual Chandelier.
And the last picture is from the Chapman Catalog.

Condition excellent.. includes original heavy brass canopy
and hook and about 5 1/2 feet of original solid brass chain.
The lead wire is in excellent shape and long as this was hanging
from a very high ceiling in a grand room.
The Chandelier is robust and heavy.

We had an inquiry for the previous one of these we were selling
from a gentleman who was wondering why we were selling it for so little
as he had bought his many years previous for $6000.
He was considering buying ours as well but he was concerned
being familiar with the weight of these chandeliers, that it would be
hanging right over his bed as he slept.
But really, a metal junction box, well screwed in or a well installed
fan box will hold this fine.

Condition:
Excellent vintage condition.
Even nicer than the previous one we had which was excellent too.
Finish nice..sleeves no wear wire long and fine.

For pickup we are near Kean University in New Jersey.
If you are within an hour or so we can drive this to you
or we can drive to meet.
If you are farther away I believe Chairish will handle it.
It is a superb brass chandelier from one of the most
creative manufactories who has recently stopped regular
production and is now only doing custom work. See less
