This substantial beauty is pure finesse and elegance, the epitome of a Stiffel made lamp. Attributed to … more Excellent Pre-Owned Condition.
This substantial beauty is pure finesse and elegance, the epitome of a Stiffel made lamp. Attributed to being made by Stiffel, there is no hallmark on the lamp itself but the original lampshade is clearly marked "Stiffel" (see photo 11). With a subtle nod to the era of Hollywood Regency, its satiny mid-tone champagne patina plays well with any style, any space. The lamp column consists of four design motifs; from top to bottom you have a fluted ribbed column, small smooth orb on a base, ribbed gourd and round ribbed baluster atop a circular raised base. In excellent condition with age appropriate patina to the lacquered satin brass; wear is consistent with age and use. Lampshade is also in excellent condition with minimal (if any) wear. 3-way light switch; 250; max wattage. Dimensions: Height from top of finial to base is 41”; height from bulb socket rim to base 29”; base diameter 7”; finial 3¼”. The original cotton linen tall drum Stiffel lampshade measures 16” x 16” x 14” H/D/D; weight just under 12 lbs. Tall and striking with modern elegance!
