Years of inquiry into the metaphysical aspects of life have influenced her studio practice. This is where the act of creation is the muse. By following intuitive impulses, Fuchs' work speaks to the chaos and stillness (and the reconciliation of these two forces) inherent in the human experience.

This original 24 inch square painting is a mixed media composition on canvas. It is Fuchs’ fascination with the pure creative force: understanding it, harnessing it and expressing it, that fuels her painting process. This painting is signed on the back. Born in New York in 1964, Jodi Fuchs is an award-winning contemporary abstract painter living in Los Angeles. Her education about color and pattern came on the job while working as a decorative painter for 20+ years. One hundred thousand wine labels by Georges Duboeuf have been adorned with her art. Fuchs' work has been featured on 50+ TV and film productions, graced the lobbies of hotels from New York to Miami to Portland Oregon, and has been exhibited and collected worldwide.
