A charming 1950s vanity or petite writing desk in the style of Italian architect and furniture designer Paolo Buffa. Crafted from solid wood in a rich finish, it stands gracefully on four tapered legs and features an elegantly curved, raised back and carved panel details. The kidney form surface is topped with back painted glass in a soft, green hue. This vanity has two front drawers accented with brass flower motif pulls. Italy, 1950s.
Condition: Great overall vintage condition. Very minor scuffs at and near the edges of the wood frame. The glass top is in good condition with small marks, scratches, and discoloration along the underside.
