This vintage 1960s stainless steel gravy bowl is etched on the bottom with the words "18-8, stainless steel Japan." It has a curvy shaped rim, making it easier to pour liquids out and the bottom plate portion is actually part of the bowl. This lip/plate makes a handy spoon rest and catches any spills. The gravy bowl can also be used as a condiment dish, a candy dish, a butter server, sour cream bowl, diced vegetable server etc. The bowl was a gift and never used so it has no dings, scratches or tarnishing. This style gravy bowl is rare/hard to find, with the attached plate which was the style at the time.
