This iconic floor … Read more A 1980s minimalist floor lamp, model “Spider”, designed by Joe Colombo and manufactured by Oluce in Italy. This iconic floor lamp is a highly recognizable piece of Italian design. It stands on a chrome plated metal round foot with a thin tubular chrome plated arm. It has a white metal, rectangular hood that can easily be adjusted in height by sliding over the arm. The combination of white and chrome finishes creates a visually appealing contrast, adding nicely to the lamp’s overall appeal. The lamp remains in good, vintage condition with some user marks to the shade. It’s working, but the button on the shade is defected. It switches on and off by a foot button on the cord.
