Produced sometime between 1930 and 1940 this piece has been completely resuscitated … Read more For your consideration this extraordinary Italian velvet bench. Produced sometime between 1930 and 1940 this piece has been completely resuscitated using the best available materials. The original frame was fully stripped and deconstructed with all joinery restored and original webbing reinforced. The gold finish was touched up and sealed, receiving multiple coats of clear lacquer. New foam was applied and covered in gorgeous Romo "Carioca" Peony multi stripe cut velvet and framed in high contrast black velvet pipe. Measures 48" wide by 18" deep and 34" tall to the tip of the finials with a seat height of 18.5". See less
