A really charming novelty sterling silver jewelry or ring box modelled in the form of a dressing table including a swing mirror to the back with it's original bevelled mirror.
The serpentine front has two faux drawers with little knobs. The box is opened by lifting the top of the dressing table. The underside is where the English hallmark can be found for the highly collectible Chester assay office and the date letter for 1917. The makers initials can also be found here for J & R Griffin -Joseph & Richard Griffin.
Excellent condition, measuring 2 1/2" across x 2" deep x 4" tall to top of mirror.
