The wicker is in remarkably good condition and the chair is sturdy and comfortable. It obviously has been painted (perhaps repainted, as well?) over the years: the front and sides are are white and very clean for its age. When you turn the chair over, you can clearly see an underlying beige paint and it is not clear whether this was the original color or not. In any case, it has stood the test of time and lived in a little used guest room for many years. See less
