This Belleek mug, decorated with green shamrocks, holds 9 fluid ounces - perfect for a morning cup of coffee. With the 6th Belleek mark, it was made between 1965 - 1980. It is in good condition with no chips or cracks. Wear to the decoration and glaze is minimal.

Belleek china is the oldest porcelain manufacturer in Ireland. Beginning in 1857, in the village of Belleek in County Fermanagh, estate owner John Caldwell Bloomfield reacted to a devastating famine by starting an earthenware manufacturing company as a way to employ the surrounding residents during one of Ireland's darkest times. Since then, it has grown to become one of the most famous potteries in the world.
The original factory is still located in Belleek and continues today with a reputation as the finest Parian china in the world. Collectors treasure the delicate yet utilitarian pottery and traditional Irish designs.
