Extraordinary vase designed by Cuno Fischer (1914-1973) for Rosenthal Studio Linie. It has a simple structure, with an elegant silhouette, which widens slightly towards the top; This form is associated with the industrial design of the post-war period in Europe. Entirely white, it highlights the representation of a kind of harlequin, who, accompanied by a rooster, rides a horse. These figures are very stylized, they are made through a delicate and highly detailed line drawing, colored with complex decorative patterns. This monochromatic design accentuates contrast and allows graphic details to be the central focus. In addition, influence of the Avant-garde (harlequin) and Surrealism is shown.
