antique, fire-gilt portal clock with figurative, greek-style bas-relief.

the base stands on bell feet with a frontally mounted bundle of arrows and bows.
on top of this we see a portal-like round arch supported by columns with star decoration on the front.
the white enamelled dial is framed by a bezel that fits perfectly into the arch. Black roman numerals and the elegant breguet hands ensure that the time is easy to read. The signature of the clockmaker ferey au hâvre blends in harmoniously.
palm and laurel leaf hangings in the directoire style complete the picture.

the movement is a french pendulum movement with an 8-day power reserve and a half-hour strike on a bell. The neatly cast sun pendulum is suspended from a thread, as is typical of the period.

condition:
revised and fully functional condition. Very nice condition of the original fire gilding. Minimal chipping on the left winding hole.
