Simple traditional decoration on either end in the form of a dragon face, archaic inscription on verso. Incised cuts on edges.
Age has made this piece very smooth to the touch.. Very tactile.
Russet inclusions. Used originally for keeping scrolls/letters in place.

Soft sheen on the jade, pale green and mustard/amber highlights - fine detailing on the sleeping dragon (referred to as a homeless dragon).
This homeless little dragon is now looking for a new home.
A rare treasure.
