John Jacques & Son Paper Box Machinery Board Shear cutting table made in Worcester, Massachusetts. This beautiful vintage table was used for book binding and cutting the thick covers to size in the late 1800s. This features a large counterweight to help lift and suspend the large blade, a handwheel and foot pedal for adjustments, as well as a measuring ruler built into the table surface. A great addition to any craft space or workroom.
The table surface is 41"W x 47"D, the additional depth is due to the cutting arm and counterweight.
