This monumental covered bowl will anchor any table or surface it graces.
In excellent vintage condition. Any imperfections are consistent with age. No chips or cracks.
One of the earliest Famille Rose patterns, Tobacco Leaf porcelain has been one of the most desirable Chinese porcelains since the 18th century Qing Dynasty.
This vintage covered bowl is two halves, bottom and top, a full 11 inches in diameter and 7 inches in height. The exotic design features tobacco leaves, passion and tobacco flowers, a phoenix and an intricately patterned ground.
This Chinese piece is from the 1970s. The mark translates loosely as Supervised and Produced by the Quarter of Leisure.
