Beautiful Vintage Swedish Kilim rug by designer Anna Greta Sjöqvist. Vibrant red against a white and brown borders with a geometric flower design in yellow, blue and browns. Designer initials on the lower right hand side. Good vintage condition with all fringes attached and some small marks on the rug.
Anna Greta Sjöqvist was a Swedish textile designer from the south of Sweden that ran her won weaving studio during the 1950-60s. Her rug designs are today sought out for their beautiful color compositions and geometric designs showing organic shapes.
