I can't speak for where it was made - the letter "B" possibly refers to the unit of measure as that is where such denotations usually go. Owner initials/monograms usually go farther down on the side and are more centered whereas the maker's mark is usually on the bottom.

This is an antique Columbian copper olleta, 19th Century

Of baluster form with flaring rim and bulbous body engraved with a script "B" and with a single wrought iron handle.

6-1/2 inches high

CONDITION: This olleta is in good but worn condition, evidence of its longlasting durability and functionality.
