Hortense de Beauharnais (1783–1837): A hand-colored engraving by Adolphe Bosmel, depicting the Queen of Holland, stepdaughter of Napoleon Bonaparte, and mother of Napoleon III. Hortense was an influential figure in European aristocracy, known for her political and artistic patronage.
