The exterior is embellished with traditional bronze mounts in keeping with the style. The interior offers small drawers and organization compartments, under it, a long drawer can be found supported by simple columns decorated with elaborate bronze capitals and bases atop an inverted semicircular base, resting in bun feet. Above the body of the secretary can be found two shelves, the bottom one has a beveled mirror while the top held by thin frontal columns hold the reticulated bronze gallery top shelf. This small secretary cannot only be used as a secure desk but also as a night table as well as a display cabinet for collectors. See less
