The chairs' form suggests an abstracted interpretation of nautilus shells with their concave curves. Beyond their maritime associations, they represent timeless and important pieces of Mid-Century Modern design, not to mention wonderfully compelling objects.

While many “Nautilus” Chairs are “Kagan Vintage” pieces produced under license agreements in the late 90s and 2000s, these are original and early examples of the Nautilus, in mint restored condition. They have been reupholstered in new smoked platinum velvet, which exhibits a subtle sheen.
