Set of four Cork Back Hard Placemats in the, "Old Britain Castles" pattern which was introduced in 1930 by Johnson Brothers. This set of pink Placemats features images of one of the most famous British Cambridge Castle, a historic Norman castle located in Cambridge, England, built by William the Conqueror in 1068.
Founded in Staffordshire, England in 1883 by brothers Frederick and Alfred Johnson, Johnson Brothers Old Britain Castles designs were engraved from drawings created in 1928, which were inspired by photographs of old engravings dating from 1792.
